We enjoyed our stay (Room 24) very much, unit had plenty of space, we liked that the resort was quiet and the beautiful gardens. Location was perfect, short walk to main beach and a bit longer walk to BBC beach which is very quiet and the water a bit calmer. Some things however should be noted if you choose to stay here - If you have mobility issues please ensure you ask for a lower ground unit. We were at the top and up several flights of steps. The pool area is nice however the beds were filthy on more than one occasion. They need washing more frequently. Also please remember to have a shower BEFORE entering the pool, it seemed to be the norm to just get in, covered in sweat and suntan lotion which is gross. The seating on the balcony was so uncomfortable, these need to be upgraded to loungers. We liked to sit outside and enjoy the sea view but couldn't do this for long due to how uncomfortable the seats were. The food and drinks prices we felt were a little high. There are many places to eat nearby offering much better value. I appreciate prices are always more in hotels but they still seemed excessive. Our unit, although comfortable was a bit tired and the walls were dirty in places, it needs a lick of paint. Whilst most staff members were friendly we didn't find one of the reception team particularly helpful, in fact we gave up asking her anything. When we checked in she told us it's 'not possible to swim before 11am' with no explanation. This was actually not true as the pool is open before that. Perhaps she is new to the role. Would we stay here again? Yes, with a few tweaks this would be a 5 star place to stay on the beautiful island of Grenada.

I am so glad we chose Blue Horizons Garden Resort for our stay in Grenada. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. Our room, including the fridge and bathroom, was spotless throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything in top condition. The setting of the resort is absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush green gardens and vibrant birdlife, making it feel like a tranquil paradise. Despite the resort being fully booked during our stay, it always felt so peaceful. There was plenty of space at the pool every time we wanted to use it, which made relaxing even more enjoyable. The location is another big plus. It’s just a short walk to the famous Grand Anse Beach, with its soft white sands and calm waters. For convenience, there’s a supermarket nearby, and several restaurants can be found both on the beach and at the top of the road where the hotel is situated. The pool area was one of our favourite spots. It’s beautifully maintained and the perfect place to unwind. A big thank you to Tevin and Shaquille at the pool bar, who looked after us every day with their friendly and attentive service. We mostly self-catered during our stay, but we did have meals at the pool bar, and the food was delicious. The reception staff were equally amazing—always warm, welcoming, and ready to assist with anything we needed. A lovely touch was the owner personally introducing himself at check-in. He took the time to recommend key places to visit on the island, which was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more special. We decided to hire a car, which we found to be more cost-effective than relying on taxis. Driving in Grenada is certainly an adventure due to the winding roads, but we managed just fine with Google Maps. Some of the highlights of our trip included visiting the beautiful Annandale Waterfalls, exploring the abandoned airport at Pearl, and touring the Belmont Estate, home to one of the island’s chocolate factories. This hotel truly is a hidden gem. While it’s rated as a 3-star property, it feels like so much more due to its beautiful setting, excellent location, and the warm hospitality of the entire staff. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would highly recommend Blue Horizons Garden Resort to anyone planning a visit to Grenada.

Excellent hotel - the highlight is the grounds, really beautiful and full of birds. Staff are very friendly. Location is good 5 mins walk from G Anse or the supermarket. Food is good too, though the bar / restaurant can be lacing atmosphere as quite quiet (at least when we were there)

We experienced another wonderful holiday in the Caribbean ! Although these are the Grenadines! Grenada is probably the best ! We had brillant local recipes with fresh local produce cooked from scratch which delays the service but there is no hurry. Attentive and kind staff. Monica and Shakir in particular. Beautiful cocktails, at the pool bar, not too sweet. A beautiful environment in well looked after gardens with lush vegetation and work of art displayed everywhere . Very clean too. So we have no hesitation in recommending La Belle Creole, their restaurant for brunch. I loved their tuna in blackened sauce for dinner or shrimps skewers, seafood raviolis … and their amazing crispy bacon served for our breakfast every day ! With a view ! The large pool is just what I needed to exercise daily and the beach is only 5 minutes away with other restaurants all along the 6 miles stretch … the first one to your right on the beach is The Umbrellas. They have a live band on Fridays… Enjoy !

I have just returned from Blue Horizons and would not hesitate to stay here again, when we arrived we were greeted by the owner with a complimentary rum punch drink, we were shown to our room which is like a little bungalow room located in the grounds beautiful gardens. The room has air conditioning and a fan above the bed with a shower room and a kitchen area. We also had a nice balcony area to sit and admire the beautiful gardens. Most days we had the pool area to ourselves with bar staff on standby to supply us with food and drinks. The bar served a fantastic range of drinks and amazing cocktails at very reasonable prices. The food the hotel served was very nice with a good selection. The hotel is located a small 5 minute walk from Grand Anse beach which is the longest beach on the island with clear blue water with lots of fish and coral. A small 15 minute walk is BBC beach which is also very good. The hotel is also close to local restaurants and a shopping mall with a great supermarket stocking a good range of fresh food. The hotel is in a great location and is only 10 minutes from the airport as well. I cannot wait to come back to Blue Horizons and have some more relaxing times.

In our opinion this is an absolutely fabulous resort. A most relaxing and calming location to arrive to following a very long flight. Greeted by the owner and given a welcome drink. We found the grounds well maintained and designed almost like a botanical garden. The bar and restaurant was well stocked with great spirits, and they made some fantastic cocktails. The lunch and dinner menus and service were really good, so good we did not feel guilty during the evenings we did not venture out to eat. The restaurant in our opinion was as good as and possibly better than some of the recommended restaurants e.g. Sails which we ate at. Breakfast was located in a building a little further up from our accommodation. Being on a hill, whilst having your breakfast, you had some great views to the sea. Our accommodation was cosy and comfortably despite having a neighbours we still felt it was private when sitting on the balcony. All staff including the groundsmen were friendly always greeting you when they passed, although this is very natural in Grenada. This however contributed to our lovely stay.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Blue Horizons and we absolutely loved it! A true tropical oasis, it was amazing to get back to our peaceful retreat after exploring the island. We loved breakfast at La Belle Creole, the food was incredible, I could get used to several courses for breakfast! The teams were super friendly too – Mary in reservations and the team in both restaurants were fantastic. The rooms were large and clean, we loved having a drink on our balcony as the sun was setting. The hotel arranged a lovely honeymoon treat in the room, decorating the bed in flowers and leaving a lovely note from the owner too - such great attention to detail. We will be back!
